ECAP® GTL

PREFINISHED EPS PANEL, GRAPHITE-ENHANCED, FOR THERMAL INSULATION SYSTEMS

ECAP® GTL is the prefinished graphite EPS board for external thermal insulation systems. The graphite lowers the thermal conductivity to λD 0.031 W/mK (0.21 BTU·in/(h·ft²·°F)): more insulation for the same thickness, or the same performance with a thinner wall build-up.

It arrives on site with the fibreglass mesh and the first coat of smoothing mortar already applied in the factory, plus punched holes for the anchors: fewer operations, shorter times and consistent quality. The system is completed with ECAP® ADP and the ECAP® finishes.

Thicknesses from 30 to 200 mm (1.18 to 7.87 in), with thermal resistance from 1.00 to 6.65 m²K/W (5.7 to 37.8 h·ft²·°F/BTU).

NOTE

Board 600 × 1200 mm (23 5/8 × 47 1/4 in) (0.72 m² (7.8 ft²)) with straight edges; prefinished with about 3 mm (0.118 in) of cement smoothing mortar and alkali-resistant fibreglass mesh 160 g/m² (4.7 oz/yd²) with overlaps; punched holes for anchors.
Graphite EPS class 100: λD 0.031 W/mK (0.21 BTU·in/(h·ft²·°F)) (EN 12667); CS(10) ≥ 100 kPa (≥ 15 psi); BS ≥ 200 kPa (≥ 29 psi).
Reaction to fire class E; μ 30-70; specific heat 1450 J/kgK; service temperature limit 80 °C (176 °F).
