LIGHTWEIGHT FIBRE-REINFORCED READY-TO-USE CEMENT SCREED MADE WITH WOOD

A new generation of lightweight and sustainable screed.

Discover KOP-Ô Chape, the new lightweight EDILTECO® cement screed made with wood. Designed to meet the requirements of both renovation and new construction, it combines mechanical performance, lightness and environmental responsibility.

Its formulation incorporates high-tech wood aggregates sourced from PEFC-certified forests, carefully mineralised to ensure a rot-proof, resistant and durable material. This technology makes it possible to obtain a screed that is up to 50% lighter than traditional concrete, while offering excellent thermal and acoustic performance.

  • Up to 50% weight reduction compared with traditional concrete.
  • Wood sourced from PEFC-certified forests, capturing approximately 350 kg of CO₂/m³.
  • CEM II cement reducing emissions at source by 58 kg of CO₂/tonne.
  • Ready-to-use product ensuring consistent quality and simplified application.

WHY CHOOSE KOP-Ô CHAPE?

Choosing KOP-Ô Chape means opting for a lightweight, high-performance and environmentally friendly solution.

  • Fibre-reinforced product that can reduce the need for anti-cracking mesh depending on the installation configuration.
  • Closed surface and smooth finish facilitating the installation of floor coverings.
  • Excellent ease of application thanks to its creamy and workable formulation.
  • Natural thermal and acoustic insulation thanks to the cellular structure of the wood.
  • Compliant with NF EN 13813 and compatible with all floor coverings.
