PRE-MIXED SELF-LEVELLING FINISHING COAT FOR LOW-PROFILE APPLICATIONS. 1-10 MM

KRONOS AUTOLIV is the pre-mixed self-levelling smoothing mortar that creates, in just a few millimetres, a perfectly flat and strong surface before the floor covering goes down. It corrects and finishes cement screeds and POLITERM® BLU and ISOLCAP lightweight subfloors, making them ready for ceramic, stoneware, natural stone, parquet, PVC, carpet and resins.

A mineral mortar based on Portland cement and selected quartz, it is applied by hand or by machine from 1 to 10 mm (0.039 to 0.394 in) (optimum 5 mm (0.197 in)) and levels itself with a smoothing trowel and spiked roller. It reaches high strength (C30-F6, wear resistance A4).

It is walkable after about 24 hours; ceramic and terracotta can be laid after about 24 hours, parquet, resilient floors and natural stone after about 7 days. For thicknesses above 10 mm (13/32 in) use KRONOS AUTOLIV 5-30.

NOTE

Thickness 1-10 mm (0.039 to 0.394 in) (optimum 5 mm (0.197 in)); consumption 1.6 kg/m² per mm of thickness (8.32 lb/ft² per inch of thickness).
Mixing water 5.25-5.75 L (1.4-1.5 US gal) per 25 kg (55 lb) bag; pot life ≥ 30 minutes.
Application temperature +5 to +35 °C (41 to 95 °F).
Walkable after about 24 h; ceramic/terracotta after about 24 h; parquet, resilient and natural stone after about 7 days.
Compressive strength C30; flexural strength F6; Böhme wear A4.
Adhesion to concrete ≥ 0.5 N/mm² (≥ 73 psi) (28 days), also after freeze/thaw cycles.
Reaction to fire A1; thermal conductivity 0.9-1.0 W/mK (6.24-6.93 BTU·in/(h·ft²·°F)).
25 kg (55 lb) bag; pallet of 48 bags (1,200 kg (2,646 lb)).

High-strength levelling of POLITERM® BLU and ISOLCAP subfloors before laying ceramic tiles, stoneware, natural stone and wooden floors.
Mandatory skim coat for glued parquet on ISOLCAP single-layer screeds.
Not to be used as a finishing layer outdoors or for heavy traffic.
