ISOLCAP SPEED 525 is the pre-mixed lightweight insulating subfloor for jobs that cannot wait: thanks to its rapid-setting binders, ceramic tiles, stoneware and clinker can be laid after about 24 hours and floating parquet after about 48 hours (5 cm (2 in) thickness). It is the answer for fast renovations, shops, offices and homes that must be handed over quickly.

Made with EPS beads coated with E.I.A. additive, it offers thermal insulation (λD 0.095 W/mK (0.66 BTU·in/(h·ft²·°F))), improved strength and a more compact surface. It does not settle, does not shrink and does not crack.

After 28 days the residual moisture is below 2%, so it is also suitable for wood-frame buildings.

It is mixed with a drill and whisk, a cement mixer or a mixer, or pumped with a properly fitted plastering machine; use it within 15 minutes of mixing. With DBRED FONOTECH 5 it contributes to impact sound reduction (ΔLw 17 dB). Reaction to fire A2-s1,d0.

Yield 13-14 bags per m³; 70 L (18.5 US gal) bag; pallet of 40 bags (2.9-3.1 m³ (102-109 ft³)).
Minimum thickness 5 cm (2 in).

PACKAGING

Single-layer lightweight screeds for floor coverings laid with adhesive (ceramic, porcelain stoneware, clinker, terracotta, parquet). For glued parquet, a KRONOS AUTOLIV skim coat (min. 5 mm (0.197 in)) is mandatory.
Lightweight thermally insulating subfloors, with or without slopes.
Lightweight infill and levelling layers.
Roof insulation (pitched or flat), suitable for direct laying of waterproofing membranes or solvent-free liquid membranes.
Not suitable for direct laying of resilient floor coverings.
