SINGLE-LAYER SOUND-INSULATING PANEL FOR WALL ACOUSTIC INSULATION

DBRED W is a single-layer sound-insulating panel for wall acoustic insulation, made of SBR rubber granules bound with MDI resin and polyurethane granules. Its high density (740 kg/m³ (46.2 lb/ft³)) and elasticity block airborne noise inside double walls and partitions.

Two thicknesses: W10 (10 mm (13/32 in), 7.4 kg/m² (1.5 lb/ft²)) and W20 (20 mm (13/16 in), 14.8 kg/m² (3 lb/ft²)), placed in the cavity of masonry walls or in timber roof build-ups. In laboratory testing, a double hollow-brick wall with two layers of W10 reaches Rw 64 dB.

Panels 120 × 120 cm (47 1/4 × 47 1/4 in) (1.44 m² (16 ft²)): W10 10 mm (13/32 in), 80 pcs per pallet (115.2 m² (1,240 ft²)); W20 20 mm (13/16 in), 40 pcs per pallet (57.6 m² (620 ft²)).

Laboratory: Rw 64 dB (W10 double layer, 12 cm (4 3/4 in) hollow brick); W20: 58 dB (aerated block 8+8), 56 dB (aerated concrete 10+8); W10: 53 dB (hollow brick 10+8).
On site: R'w 51 dB (cellular concrete 10 + 11.5), 54 dB (hollow brick 8+8); W20: R'w 55 dB (hollow brick 12+12).
