Passive fire protection of steel beams and composite steel deck floors with sprayed PROTHERM LIGHT®.
In a steel-framed building in the Milan area, PROTHERM LIGHT® was sprayed with a plastering machine on steel beams and composite steel deck floors. The pre-mixed lightweight thermally insulating plaster, class A1 for reaction to fire, bonds directly to the substrate and achieves the required fire resistance with low thicknesses in a single operation.
