BUILDING REFURBISHMENT
110 kg/m³ (6.9 lb/ft³) lightweight subfloor with POLITERM® BLU FEIN in a refurbishment in Rome.
POLITERM® BLU FEIN, 2 mm (0.079 in) EPS beads coated with E.I.A. additive, was used to make a lightweight subfloor with a density of about 110 kg/m³ (6.9 lb/ft³). Mixed on site with a mobile plant and pumped to the floor, it covered the services and levelled the existing floors with minimal loads, while providing effective thermal insulation.
