TRENITALIA MAINTENANCE FACILITY

For the new high-speed maintenance facility of Trenitalia at the Torino Smistamento site (clients Trenitalia S.p.A. and Vianini Lavori S.p.A.), PROTHERM LIGHT® was sprayed with a plastering machine on steel structures and composite steel deck floors, over about 63,100 m² (679,202 ft²). Thicknesses of 10 mm (13/32 in) for R 60 and 20 mm (2 3/8 and 13/16 in) for R 120 kept the loads on the structure low; the product was also chosen for its weather resistance, as the ceiling was exposed. The work took about nine months and 332 pallets of product.
