FIRE PROTECTION OF STRUCTURAL FRP REINFORCEMENTS

The reinforced concrete beams, strengthened with structural FRP reinforcements, were protected from fire with PROTHERM LIGHT® FRP, the composite board designed for the passive fire protection of FRP strengthening systems. The boards are light and easy to shape; they cover the soffit and sides of the beams and preserve the performance of the reinforcement in case of fire.
