HISTORIC BUILDING IN THE CITY CENTRE

Lightweight thermally insulating subfloors were made with POLITERM® BLU, virgin EPS beads coated with E.I.A. additive and mixed on site with cement and water. The E.I.A. additive gives a homogeneous mix, with no floating of the beads, and produces a light, insulating concrete that reduces the loads on the floors: a solution particularly suited to the refurbishment of historic buildings.
