UNDERLAY, IN ROLLS, FOR IMPACT SOUND INSULATION

REGUPOL comfort 8 is an 8 mm (0.31 in) impact sound underlay in PUR-bonded elastomers with a dimpled underside, supplied in rolls for screeds and floating floors. Under a 90 mm (3 1/2 in) cement screed it reduces impact noise by ΔLw 26 dB, and under a 35 mm (1 3/8 in) RenoScreed® by ΔLw 23 dB.

Its thermal resistance is low (R 0.10 m²K/W (0.57 h·ft²·°F/BTU)), so it is suitable for underfloor heating; VOC emissions A+. Rolls 13,000 × 1,150 mm (42 ft 8 in × 45 1/4 in) for residential and commercial buildings, hotels and renovated apartments, with imposed loads up to 5 kN/m² (104 psf).

Dynamic stiffness s't ≤ 16 MN/m³ (≤ 59 lbf/in³); compressibility c ≤ 1 mm (≤ 0.04 in); maximum imposed load 5 kN/m² (104 psf).
Thermal conductivity 0.06 W/mK (0.42 BTU·in/(h·ft²·°F)); R 0.10 m²K/W (0.57 h·ft²·°F/BTU); temperature -20 / +60 °C (-4 / 140 °F); suitable for floor heating.
