REGUPOL comfort 12
UNDERLAY, IN ROLLS, FOR IMPACT SOUND INSULATION
REGUPOL comfort 12 is a 12 mm (0.47 in) impact sound underlay in PUR-bonded elastomers with a dimpled underside, supplied in rolls and tested by REGUPOL on concrete, wood-frame and CLT floors. On a 140 mm (5 1/2 in) concrete slab it reduces impact noise by ΔLw 29 dB under a 60 mm (2 3/8 in) cement screed and by ΔLw 28 dB under a 40 mm (1 9/16 in) RenoScreed®; on wood-frame and CLT floors it is laid over the REGUPOL comfort S1 levelling fill.
Its thermal resistance is low (R 0.133 m²K/W (0.76 h·ft²·°F/BTU)), so it is suitable for underfloor heating; VOC emissions A+. Rolls 9,300 × 1,150 mm (30 ft 6 in × 45 1/4 in) for residential and commercial buildings, hotels, renovated apartments and new construction, with imposed loads up to 5 kN/m² (104 psf).

- Material: PUR-bonded elastomers, dimpled underside; rolls 9,300 × 1,150 × 12 mm (30 ft 6 in × 45 1/4 in × 0.47 in), 3.0 kg/m² (0.61 lb/ft²).
- Concrete floor, 140 mm (5 1/2 in) slab: ΔLw ≥ 29 dB with 60 mm (2 3/8 in) cement screed; ΔLw ≥ 28 dB with 40 mm (1 9/16 in) RenoScreed® (DIN EN ISO 10140-3).
- CLT floor, 160 mm (6 5/16 in) (reference floor Ln,w 86 dB, Rw 39 dB): with 100 mm (3 15/16 in) REGUPOL comfort S1 and 45 mm (1 3/4 in) cement screed Ln,w 50 dB, Rw 70 dB; with 22 mm (7/8 in) OSB instead of the screed Ln,w 46 dB, Rw 70 dB.
- Wood-frame floor, 263 mm (10 3/8 in) C1 (reference floor Ln,w 72 dB, Rw 49 dB): with 40 mm (1 9/16 in) REGUPOL comfort S1 and 50 mm (2 in) cement screed Ln,w 47 dB, Rw 69 dB; adding a suspended ceiling on REGUFOAM hangers Ln,w 30 dB, Rw 81 dB.
