DBRED DUETTO

LAMINATED UNDERLAY ROLL FOR IMPACT SOUND INSULATION

DBRED DUETTO is a laminated underlay in rolls for impact sound insulation: SBR rubber granules and fibres bound with MDI polyurethane resin, thermally bonded to a layer of cross-linked polyethylene. It combines the elasticity and long-term durability of rubber with the polyethylene's waterproofing and ease of taping.

Thanks to the polyethylene on top, no extra waterproofing layer is needed before casting the screed. Two versions: F3+3 (6 mm (0.236 in), ΔLw 29 dB) and F5+4 (9 mm (11/32 in), ΔLw 38 dB) for the highest acoustic requirements.

DUETTO F5+4: 5 mm (0.197 in) SBR + 4 mm (5/32 in) PE = 9 mm (11/32 in); rolls 120 × 1500 cm (47 1/4 × 591 in) (18 m² (194 ft²)), 6 rolls per pallet (108 m² (1,163 ft²)); 2.88 kg/m² (0.59 lb/ft²); λD 0.054 W/mK (0.37 BTU·in/(h·ft²·°F)); CP2; s' 35 MN/m³ (129 lbf/in³); ΔLw 38 dB; L'nw 52 / 48 / 48 dB with 4 / 6 / 8 cm (1 5/8 / 2 3/8 / 3 1/8 in) screed.
Rubber service temperature -40 / +115 °C (-40 / 239 °F); fire class B2 (DIN 4102).

PACKAGING

Impact sound insulation under floating screeds in residential and commercial buildings.

Joints sealed with dBred adhesive tapes.
